Spring & Winter Kissing

Rime ice near bridge

On March 17 Helen Hopper caught this photo of "sugar coated" moments on the mountain.

"Or at least that is what I kept thinking it looked like...the trees were just sugar coated," said Helen.

"All the people I talked with today were so pleased to see the ice covered trees while enjoying the warm temperatures and safe passage. Best of both worlds I guess. Spring and Winter kissing." (Helen Hopper photo)
