You can purchase the passes at the Entrance Gate on your next visit to the Mountain, or phone the entrance gate at 828-733-4337 to give them a credit card and they will mail your pass.

An annual pass to Grandfather Mountain can also earn you discounts at Biltmore Estate, Tweetsie Railroad, Chimney Rock Park, and Mast General Store. Show their passes at Grandfather for $2 off each adult ticket and $1 off each child's ticket!

  • Passholders from Grandfather Mountain can show their pass at Biltmore’s Ticket Center and save up to $15 off gate price for adult daytime visits, on up to 4 tickets. Youth ages 10-16 are half the adult price and kids 9 and under are free with paying adult. *Valid during 2011 calendar year.   • Show your Grandfather Mountain pass at the Mast General Store to receive 15 percent off on any single item. Offer does not apply to Ecco, Mountain Hardwear, Patagonia or The North Face brands.

    6-Month Winter Passes

    Grandfather's six-month winter pass is available November 1 through April 30 and offers an affordable way for people who live within an easy drive of Grandfather to be spontaneous and take off for the mountaintop on pretty winter days. "Secret Season" pass holders are encouraged to call for current weather conditions before starting this way. The phone number at the Entrance Gate is 828-733-4337.
