On Saturday, September 12, Grandfather Mountain will celebrate Kidfest, a day designed to get kids excited about the nature and culture of the North Carolina Mountains through fun and entertaining activities.

The Effect of Trash on the Environment. Visit the booth by the Butterfly Garden (near the Fudge Shop) to learn about the impact trash has on the world we live in.
